Chocolate and summer heat aren't the best match! To help your dates arrive looking and tasting their best, we'll be shipping orders only on Mondays and Tuesdays. Due to warmer temperatures, all summer shipments include additional insulated packaging to help protect your order in transit. As a result, shipping rates have increased to cover the added cost of these materials. 

Package Responsibility Disclaimer

Coco Elephant is not responsible for packages once they have been marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and retrieving their package promptly upon delivery. Due to the perishable and temperature-sensitive nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for packages that are delayed, unattended, stolen, or damaged after delivery.

Our dates are arranged by flavor inside our pink mailer box, packed in sets of 2 or 3 and hot-sealed in clear cellophane bags to lock in freshness. Please note: the shipping label is placed directly on the pink mailer box.

Ordering more than one? We’ll bundle your pink boxes together in a larger brown shipping box for the ride.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we’re unable to accept returns. All items, including merchandise, are final sale.

You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is placed. A second email with tracking information will be sent once your order is being prepared for shipment.

No need to worry! We never include pricing or payment details in our nationwide online orders. Please note that the shipping label will be affixed to the outside of our mailer box.

At Coco Elephant, we craft our dates using only high-quality ingredients—free from emulsifiers, stabilizers, and artificial flavors. As a result, our treats are best enjoyed fresh.
Our dates have a natural shelf life of 2 weeks at room temperature. To extend freshness, we recommend refrigerating or freezing them, which can add up to 2 additional weeks of shelf life. For the best tasting experience, bring them to room temperature before enjoying.
Please note: Chocolate is sensitive to heat and should not be left out in warm conditions for extended periods. For best results, store your dates in a cool, dry place until ready to enjoy.
You may notice a whitish film appear on the surface of the chocolate—this is known as chocolate bloom. It's a natural and harmless occurrence caused by cocoa butter (fat) rising to the surface due to temperature fluctuations. While it may affect appearance, it does not impact safety or taste. Bloomed chocolate is perfectly safe to eat.

Medjool dates are a natural fruit, which means each one is unique—no two are exactly alike in size or weight. Think of them as siblings, not twins!
